Abstract
The invention relates to an image recording device, comprising a camera (1) with at least one image recording sensor and an electronically controlled optical filter (2) in front of the image recording sensor, for multi-spectral recording of scenes in selected colour spectral ranges with a selector unit for selecting at least one scene part of a scene recorded by the camera (1) in a spectral range suitably large for selection of the at least one scene part and a controller (4) for controlling the electronically controlled optical filter (2) and the camera (1) such that a number of images of the same scene are recorded in selected spectral ranges. The controller (4) is suitable for matching the selection of spectral ranges selected by the control of the electronically-controllable optical filter (2) to the spectral characteristics of the selected scene parts and combination of the number of images taken in differing spectral ranges and matching control of the electronically controllable optical filter (2) for optimising the selection of spectral ranges depending on the result of the combination of the number of images.
