Abstract

The invention relates to protective armour plating for the body, consisting of a plurality of adjacently arranged armour elements. Said elements consist of a plurality of identical or essentially identical armour plates forming a matricial arrangement in such a way that straight lines of contact of adjacent armour plates are interrupted by other armour plates of the matricial arrangement.
