Abstract
Disclosed are: a microarray having an organic molecule immobilized thereon, which enables the organic molecule to be immobilized on a solid substrate in various orientations, which enables to detect a complicated interaction between the organic molecule and an active substance, and has no restriction in orientation and therefore can analyze on structure-activity relationships, and can be produced in a simple manner and at low cost; a method for producing the microarray; and a method for detecting the interaction between an active substance and the organic molecule using the microarray. Specifically disclosed is a microarray having, immobilized thereon, an organic molecule which is used for the detection of the interaction between the organic molecule and the active substance. The microarray comprises a substrate (A), an organic carrier (B) immobilized on the substrate (A) by an intermolecular interaction, and an organic molecule (C) immobilized on the organic carrier (B). In a preferred embodiment, an analysis is made by measuring at least one item selected from transmission, reflection and interference of a terahertz (THz) wave by using the microarray.
