- Another step navigates an anterior resection guide perpendicular to the AP line at a depth determined by the anterior-posterior distance between the posterior portion of the condyle of the femur and the intersection point.
- the method includes navigating a distal resection guide oriented according to the varus/ valgus angle.
- the guides are navigated in step 84 so that a smooth transition zone between the implant and the lateral distal cartilage of the femur.
