Abstract

Electronic device for frequency shifting, comprising an input for receiving an analogue input signal having a first frequency, sampling means (MECH) able to deliver analogue samples of the input signal, first processing means (MT1) able to perform a discrete Fourier transform processing on the samples of the signal and to deliver first intermediate samples, second processing means (MT2) able to modify the spectral distribution of the first intermediate samples and to deliver second intermediate samples, and third processing means (MT3) able to perform an inverse discrete Fourier transform processing on the second intermediate samples and to deliver analogue samples of an output signal having a second frequency lower than the first frequency.
