Abstract

A set-top-box (10) cabinet for natural cooling of internal electronics, comprises of an assembly of a first perforated sidewall (22) extending longitudinally and positively fixed along edges of a top panel (16), a front panel (18), a back panel (20) and a perforated bottom panel (22) having sufficient clearance from the underlying surface to permit entry of fresh air A second perforated sidewall (14) extends longitudinally, detachable to the assembly and being fixed oppositely to the first perforated sidewall (22) The perforated bottom panel (22) in conjunction with the perforated sidewalls that tapers towards the top panel (16) provides natural cooling for the heat dissipation therein in the set-top-box (10) The first and the second sidewalls herein taper towards the top panel (16) in such a way to have an ?A-shape? or the like similar shapes.
