Abstract
A system and a method is disclosed for providing character input remotely using pre-defined gestures typically via RF signalling to enhance usability through easier human machine interface. The system comprises a first element adapted to work in conjunction with the human body and located remotely from one or more devices comprising a motion detecting sensor (100), a micro-controller (102) and a transmitter (104), as well as a second element comprising a receiver (106), a repository (112) storing discrete data corresponding to sets of stored signals representing pre-defined gestures, a second micro-controller (108) and a controller (110) to operate at least one functionality of said one or more devices.
