Abstract

Disclosed is an apparatus for determining the size of an artificial knee joint in surgeries for replacing an artificial knee joint, the apparatus being applicable to both a surgery wherein the anterior femur is first incised, and a surgery wherein the anterior femur is later incised. The disclosed apparatus comprises: a body having a slide groove formed in the vertical direction on the center of the front portion thereof, holes for fixing pins formed in the back-and-forth direction at both lateral portions thereof and coupling holes formed at both lateral portions of the top end thereof; a slider havinga movement bar slidably connected to the slide groove, and a supporting plate bending toward one side from the lower end of the movement bar such that a bottom surface of the supporting plate is supported by a connecting device fixed to the tibia; and a mounting plate having coupling protrusions, which are selectively coupled to the coupling holes, formed at the both portions of the bottom surface thereof, wherein the mounting plate is used without being connected to the body in a surgery in which the anterior femur is not first incised and the mounting plate is used being connected to the body in a surgery in which the anterior femur is first incised, so that the mounting plate is securely mounted on the incised anterior femur.
