Abstract
The present application relates to a method of generating motion capture data and/or animation data. The method includes the step of collecting movement data relating to a subject's movements whilst the subject performs one or more actions. A set of subject data is provided and, after the movement data has been collected, the subject data is modified. The modified subject data is then utilised to generate motion capture data and/or animation data. The step of modifying the subject data can allow the subject data to be tailored to relate to the subject. A modifier may be applied to a set of movement data collected from one or more core reference sensors. The present application also relates to a system for generating motion capture data and/or animation data.
