Abstract

The energy supply unit (2) comprises at least one energy storage means (4) and at least one interface for connecting an energy generator (3) for charging the energy storage means (4) and at least one power supply connection  (5, 6, 7, 11-15) that can be fed through the energy storage means (4), wherein the at least one power supply connection (5, 6, 7, 11-15) is provided to supply a user with standby power and/or a charging current by way of the energy storage means (4). The energy supply system comprises at least one energy supply unit (2) and at least one energy generator (3) that feeds the at least one energy supply unit (2). In the method for energy supply, at least one user to be supplied exclusively by standby power and/or charging current is fed from an energy storage medium (4), and the energy storage medium (4) is charged by way of an energy generator (3).
