Abstract

The invention relates to a round plug connector (1) at one end of a shielded cable (2), comprising electric conductors (3) that can be connected via contacts on the side of the plug connector (1) facing the cable (2), wherein the plug connecter further comprises a protective sheath (6) that is conductively connected to the cable shield (7) of the cable (2), with one or both of the following characteristics: a) a circuit board (10) carrying at least one electric component (13) is placed at least sectionally around the protective sheath (6), said circuit board being mechanically fastened to the protective sheath (6) preferably by means of soldering contacts (11), b) and/or the protective sheath (6) comprises at least one fold (9) through which at least one electric conductor (12) is routed.
