Abstract
The present invention relates to an apparatus, a system and a method for generation of electrical power from renewal sources, particularly natural hydropower sources such as sea or ocean currents and tides. The apparatus comprises a receptacle (57, 69) divided into chambers (58, 59, 68,71), - the first, open chamber (58, 71), arranged to a first fluid to flow through, - the second, close chamber (59, 68) filled with a second fluid. The flow of the first fluid drives the flow of the second fluid. The apparatus further includes a turbine (62), which is driven by the flow of the second fluid. The system comprises the apparatus and an electical generator. The method comprises the steps of driving an ocean current as a first fluid through a first chamber (58, 71), driving a second fluid in a second chamber (59, 68) by the first fluid, driving a turbine (62) by the second fluid.
