Abstract

The present invention relates to a blood collecting device, and more specifically to a blood collecting device which can adjust the depth of penetration of the lancet needle which penetrates the skin in accordance with the thickness of the skin at the body site from where blood is to be collected. The blood collecting device of the present invention comprises: a housing having a blood collecting hole formed at the front end; a blood collecting part for moving a lancet, which is provided in the housing, towards the blood collecting hole and making the needle of the lancet pass through the blood collecting hole, thereby making the needle pierce the body site from where the blood is to be collected; and a penetration-depth-adjusting means for varying the length of the needle projecting out from the housing while pinching the skin of the body site, thereby adjusting the depth of penetration of the needle which penetrates into the body site in accordance with the thickness of the skin at the body site.
