- the control unit 210 implements functions corresponding to the data acquisition unit 211, the keyword extraction unit 212, the data specification unit 213, and the data output unit 214 illustrated in FIG.
- the data acquisition unit 211 acquires memo data transmitted from the first server 100 and data included in the plurality of databases DB1, DB2,.
- the keyword extraction unit 212 ranks the character strings included in the memo data according to a predetermined rule, and extracts one or a plurality of keywords used for the search.

That is, in this case, it is not necessary for the data acquisition unit 211 to read and acquire all of the data included in the databases DB1 to DBn, and it is sufficient to acquire related data according to the keyword to be searched.
- the databases DB1 to DBn are classified according to several viewpoints, and each includes a keyword grouped according to a predetermined viewpoint.
- the viewpoint here is, for example, the part of speech of the keyword (common noun, proper noun, etc.) and the meaning or content of the keyword.
- the databases DB1 to DBn may include a database that selectively collects place names and public facility names, a database that selectively collects keywords related to movies, a database that selectively collects keywords related to restaurants, and the like.
- the databases DB1 to DBn may be classified in more detail according to the genre of the movie work, or may be classified into a database for an Italian restaurant or a Chinese restaurant.
- the databases DB1 to DBn do not prevent the same keyword from being included in a plurality of databases.
- the keyword “pasta” may be included in both the common noun database and the restaurant database.
- the keyword may be included in both the common noun database and the movie database.
- the databases DB1 to DBn have a pre-assigned order. It should be noted that the rank in the present embodiment is preferential as the value is smaller, and is a value that is prioritized. However, the ranking itself according to the present invention may be a superior value as the value is larger, for example, a score of a general game or the like. This is true for both database ranking and character string ranking.
- Database ranking is determined by relative comparison with other databases.
- the ranking of the database is an index indicating which database is prioritized (or weighted) in the search.
- a database that collects proper nouns may preferably be set higher (lower value) than a database that collects ordinary nouns.
- which database is prioritized may be appropriately determined by the data search service provider, but the order does not need to be fixed, and may vary depending on the region, season, and the like.
- the ranking of the database may be changed according to the fashion of the world at that time. For example, a database that includes words frequently used on a predetermined website such as a search engine or blog as a keyword or a database that includes buzzwords is temporarily ranked by the data search service provider. May be.
- the configuration of the data search system 10 is as described above. Under this configuration, the user creates memo data using the communication terminal 300.
- the memo data created by the user is data describing what the user came up with while using the communication terminal 300, the user's schedule, and the like.
- the user captures an image of a subject (a movie work poster, a store signboard, a product package, a train timetable, etc.) using the imaging unit 360. It is also possible to make a note as an image.
- the communication terminal 300 stores the memo data in the storage unit 320. Further, the communication terminal 300 transmits memo data to the first server 100 at an appropriate timing, and performs backup of the memo data.
- the timing at which the memo data is backed up may be the timing at which the user requests the backup, or may be the timing at which the memo data is periodically repeated regardless of the user operation.
- the first server 100 and the second server 200 cooperate with each other to add related data to the stored memo data by using the fact that the memo data is stored.
- the first server 100 transmits the memo data received from the communication terminal 300 to the second server 200, and the second server 200 transmits related data related to the memo data to the first server 100 in response to this. To do. If it is possible to specify which memo data the related data to be transmitted corresponds to, the second server 200 need only transmit the related data to the first server 100, and does not need to transmit the memo data. For example, if a unique ID is assigned to each piece of memo data, it is sufficient for the second server 200 to transmit the related data and its ID to the first server 100.
- the first server 100 stores the related data and transmits it to the communication terminal 300 at an appropriate timing.
- the first server 100 may transmit the related data at a timing requested by the user of the communication terminal 300.
- the first server 100 may transmit the related data immediately after receiving the related data regardless of the user's request. Good.
- the memo data does not need to be searched for all the related data. For example, memo data that cannot extract a significant character string that contributes to the search is excluded from the search target. Such memo data may not be transmitted from the first server 100 to the second server 200, and may not be transmitted from the communication terminal 300 to the first server 100. Further, the first server 100 stores the character string included in the memo data excluded from the search target in this way, and when such a character string is extracted a predetermined number of times or more, this is a new word. You may recognize. Such a new word may be notified from the first server 100 to the provider of the data search service and newly added to any database.
- FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating a format of memo data.
- the memo data has three types of input items of “title”, “detail”, and “image”.
- the “title” is an input item into which a character string corresponding to the title or heading of the memo data input by the user is inserted.
- the character string may be changeable in font size, color, typeface, and the like.
- the “image” is an input item to which image data generated by the imaging unit 360 is attached. Note that the memo data may not have image data attached.
- “Details” is an input item into which a character string extracted from image data by the second server 200 is inserted.
- the input item of “details” is in a state where no character string is inserted (blank state) until the memo data is returned from the first server 100.
- the “details” input item does not hinder the input by the user, and the user can input an arbitrary character string or the like as necessary.
- FIG. 7 is a flowchart showing processing executed by the second server 200 when searching for related data.
- the control unit 210 of the second server 200 first acquires memo data via the communication unit 230 (step S1).
- the control unit 210 determines whether image data is included in the memo data (step S2).
- the control unit 210 analyzes the image represented by the image data and recognizes characters included in the image (step S3).
- the process of step S3 is performed using a well-known OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technique.
- OCR Optical Character Recognition
- the controller 210 may perform translation as necessary.
- the control unit 210 may store the difference in association with the character, and the display position of the character. May be stored in association with the character.
- the control unit 210 skips the process of step S3.
- the control unit 210 extracts a character string from the memo data (step S4).
- the control unit 210 performs a well-known morphological analysis on the character (“title” in FIG. 6) input by the user and the character recognized in step S ⁇ b> 3, and determines the character for each morpheme (part of speech, etc.). Recognize as a unit.
- the control part 210 extracts the character string which combined the continuous morpheme in a sentence suitably.
- the character string here can contain all what can be expressed by a character code, and can contain not only what is called a character but a number and a symbol.
- the control unit 210 assigns a rank to each of the extracted character strings (step S5).
- the order of character strings is determined by relative comparison with other character strings.
- the other character strings here may be limited to only the character strings included in one memo data to be used for the search. However, regardless of whether or not they are included in the memo data It may include a character string.
- the order of the character strings is an index indicating which character string has higher priority in the search.
- the control unit 210 can reflect the display mode information in the ranking. . For example, it is estimated that a character having a size larger than other characters in the memo data is likely to have a more important meaning in the memo data. Or, if a specific character string in the memo data is underlined or a color different from other character strings is used, it is highly likely that the character string is emphasized in the sentence. Guessed. Therefore, when such a character string is extracted, the control unit 210 sets the rank of the character string higher than other character strings.
- control unit 210 may rank character strings in conjunction with an external information source such as a search engine. For example, it can be said that a character string frequently searched by a certain search engine has a high possibility of indicating something that is popular and attracting attention at that time. Therefore, when such a character string is extracted, the control unit 210 may make the rank of the character string higher than other character strings.
- an external information source such as a search engine.
- control unit 210 may perform ranking according to which input item the character string extracted from the memo data belongs. In the case of the example in FIG. 6, the control unit 210 may increase the rank of the character string described in “Title” or may increase the rank of the character string recognized from the image.
- control unit 210 may calculate the overall ranking by combining rankings from a plurality of viewpoints. For example, the control unit 210 performs ranking by the plurality of methods exemplified above, and then combines the ranking for each of the plurality of methods assigned to each character string by a predetermined operation (addition, multiplication, etc.). It is also possible to use the value calculated by this calculation as the ranking.
- the control unit 210 extracts one or a plurality of keywords from the plurality of character strings (step S6). At this time, the control unit 210 refers to the rank assigned to the character string and extracts one or more character strings having a higher rank as keywords. Then, the control unit 210 searches the keywords extracted from the memo data in this manner in a plurality of databases, and specifies related data associated with the keywords (step S7). When the related data can be specified, the control unit 210 specifies the rank of the database in which the related data is stored.
- the control unit 210 may consider so-called “notation fluctuation”.
- the fluctuation of notation means that different notations (synonyms, abbreviations, etc. of a word) are used for words having the same meaning. That is, when comparing the keyword extracted from the memo data with the keyword in the database, the control unit 210 is not limited to the case where they match completely, and even when one corresponds to the other synonym or synonym. You may consider that they match.
- control unit 210 determines whether there are a plurality of related data identified in step S7 (step S8), and changes the subsequent operation according to the determination result.
- the control unit 210 outputs the related data and transmits the related data to the first server 100 via the communication unit 230 (step S11).
- the control unit 210 combines the ranking of the database in which the related data is stored and the ranking of the keywords associated with the related data. The rank is calculated (step S9), and only a predetermined number of related data having a higher overall rank is output (step S10).
- the combination here is, in a simple example, adding or multiplying the ranking for the database and the ranking for the keyword.
- the combinations of these ranks may be weighted by multiplying the respective ranks by different predetermined coefficients, and the weighted values may be added or multiplied.
- FIG. 8 is a diagram illustrating a display example of related data transmitted to the communication terminal 300.
- a character string “movie ABC theater 19:00 waiting” is input to the input item of “title” of the memo data.
- “ABC Theater” is assumed to be the name of a movie theater.
- the image data corresponds to a poster of a movie work, and includes a character string “XYZ” and a character string “February 27 Road Show” which are the titles of the work. .
- the character string recognized from the image data is added to the “details” input item of the memo data.
- the movie theater name “ABC Theater” and the work title “XYZ” are the other “movie”, “19:00”, “waiting”, “February”, “27th”.
- Priority is given to character strings such as “road show”.
- information obtained as related data is information related to “ABC Theater” and “XYZ”.
- the communication terminal 300 causes the display unit 340 to display links L1 and L2 for referring to these pieces of information.
- Information obtained as a result of selecting the links L1 and L2 is, for example, an official website of “ABC Theater” or “XYZ”, or a web page of a search result obtained by searching for “ABC Theater” or “XYZ” by a predetermined search engine. It is. Note that the display order of the links L1 and L2 follows the overall order calculated in step S9 described above. Further, the communication terminal 300 may change the display size of each related data and the amount of information to be displayed according to this order. For example, the communication terminal 300 may change the display mode according to the ranking such that related data with a higher ranking is displayed with larger characters. Further, the description regarding the links L1 and L2 may be changed according to the content of the information. For example, in the example of FIG.
- the descriptions regarding the links L1 and L2 are both a character string “There is related information of (keyword)”, but the link L1 is a link to a map around “ABC Theater”. If there is, the explanation may be “You can refer to the map around the ABC Theater”, or if the link L2 is a link to the screening schedule of “XYZ”, you can say “You can refer to the screening schedule of XYZ” It may be an explanation.
- the data search system 10 of the present embodiment even if the user does not explicitly request a search, the related data is searched using the fact that the memo data is backed up. It is possible to add to. Further, according to the data search system 10, it is possible to use the character string included in the image data for the search and reflect the recognition result of the character string in the memo data.
- the data search system 10 it is possible to give a weight to the search by the order set in the character string or the database or a combination of these orders. This makes it easier to perform searches that prioritize more characteristic character strings among the character strings included in the memo data, and searches that prioritize databases that are more relevant to the character strings included in the memo data. It can be expected to increase the possibility of providing the information requested by the user.
- the communication terminal 300 may transmit additional data accompanying the memo data together.
- the additional data here represents at least one of the transmission time (date, time, etc.) of the data, the position of the communication terminal 300, and the attribute related to the communication terminal 300.
- Such data corresponds to an example of additional data according to the present invention.
- the position of the communication terminal 300 can be represented by position information generated by the positioning unit 370.
- the attributes related to the communication terminal 300 include not only attributes of the communication terminal 300 itself but also attributes of the user of the communication terminal 300 (gender, age, occupation, hobby, etc.). In the latter case, the communication terminal 300 stores user attributes in advance.
- the second server 200 acquires the additional data, and specifies related data according to a character string or database order determined according to the content. For example, the second server 200 searches for related data using a database in which information is collected by region, or a database having a different priority order according to age or gender.
- the second server 200 may increase the rank of the character string when the character string closely related to the position and transmission time indicated by the position information is included in the memo data. For example, when the transmission time of memo data is summer, if the memo data includes a character string related to summer (such as “summer vacation”, “sea bathing”), the second server 200 uses such a character string. The character strings are ranked so that the ranking of is higher.
- FIG. 9 is a diagram illustrating a database in which the ranking differs depending on gender.
- the database DB1 is a database that has a high ranking for men but a low ranking for women.
- the database DB2 is a database that has a high ranking for women but a low ranking for men. That is, in this example, the database DB1 is a database that collects information for men, and the database DB2 is a database that collects information for women.
- the second server 200 preferentially uses the database DB2 when searching for the memo data.
- the data search system 10 described above is configured to include different server devices, the first server 100 and the second server 200.
- the server device according to the present invention may include functions corresponding to the first server 100 and the second server 200 in a single device.
- the function provided in the second server 200 in the embodiment described above may be replaced with the function of the first server 100.
- a function for recognizing characters included in an image steps S 2 to S 4
- a function for ranking character strings step S 5 are performed before the memo data is transmitted to the second server 200.
- This is a function that may be executed in advance in one server 100. In other words, it can be said that these functions are not essential functions for the data search apparatus according to the present invention.
- the processing in steps S2 to S5 may be executed not in the first server 100 or the second server 200 but in the communication terminal 300.
- the present invention does not need to be given a rank to both the character string and the database, and can be implemented if a rank is given to at least one of them.
- the present invention does not need to be used for a plurality that do not have a rank.
- the present invention when a plurality of ranked databases are used for the search, only one character string (keyword) may be extracted from the memo data.
- a plurality of ranked keywords when a plurality of ranked keywords are used for a search, only one database may be used.
- the plurality of databases when a plurality of databases are used, it is sufficient that the plurality of databases are logically distinguished, and it is not necessary to have a physically different configuration. Therefore, these databases do not need to be stored in different storage units, but may be stored in the same storage unit as a collection of independent data.
- the same ranking may be assigned to different strings and database rankings. For example, when there are three character strings extracted from memo data, the order of each character string is higher for a specific character string, and the other two character strings have the same order. Good.
- the present invention does not necessarily have to be implemented using memo data backup. That is, according to the present invention, as in the case of general data search, a user of an external terminal may request a search and search related data in response to the request.

Abstract
