Description
System zur Verkabelung der Automatisierungs- und Leittechnik einer technischen System for wiring the automation and control technology of a technical
Anlage investment
Beschreibung description
The invention relates to a system for wiring of intelligent field devices and / or input / output units with a higher-level control or control of automation and control of a technical system, also called process control system of the technical system, according to the preamble of claim 1. The inventive system especially suitable for use in a power plant.
In known process control systems, the used intelligent field devices and / or input / output units are each connected via a separate field bus to the correspondingly assigned automation device, hereinafter also referred to as controller. The controllers communicate with a higher-level control system or higher-level control system via a system bus.
If now signals from a field device or an input / output unit is required, which is not directly connected to the respective automation device, the corresponding signal must be connected to another automation device via the so-called source automation device connected directly to the field device and the system bus connecting all automation devices. the so-called target automation device, transferred. This requires an increased reaction time or lower transmission speeds for signals forwarded as well as an additional planning effort for the configuration of the signal exchange from the source automation device to the target automation device.
In order to avoid signal transfer via the system bus, the signals from and to the input / output units and intelligent field devices are routed to the target automation devices via hardware patch panels, which, however, means an increased amount of wiring and hardware through additionally required patch panels.
The invention is accordingly an object of a system for cabling the automation and control of a technical system, also called process control system of the technical system, to specify, whereby the aforementioned disadvantages of the prior art are overcome. With the system according to the invention in particular the planning effort and the reaction time of the system should be reduced and the transmission speeds of the signals transmitted within the system should be increased. The system according to the invention is provided as a continuous solution, in particular both for use in the switchgear and in the process technology of a power plant.
This object is achieved by a system for wiring of intelligent field devices and / or input / output units with a higher-level control or control of a process control system of the technical system with the features specified in claim 1. Advantageous embodiments and improvements of the system according to the invention are specified in further claims and in the description.
According to the invention, the system for cabling intelligent field devices and / or input / output units with the higher-level control technology of the process control system of the technical system comprises a plurality of automation devices, also called controllers, which are connected to each other and to the higher-level control technology via a system bus. The automation devices are connected to the intelligent field devices and / or input / output units via a communication network, for example the Ethernet, such that a signal transfer takes place between the field devices and / or input / output units to the controllers via the Ethernet bus system is executable.
As a result, it is advantageously achieved that the controllers are each loaded only with the signals required for the execution of the automation function to be executed by the respective controller. The fact that now the signals from and to the field devices or input / output units or the controllers via the Ethernet bus system are available, the availability of the technical system increases and the response time of the entire system is significantly reduced.
The system according to the invention furthermore makes it possible to automatically route the fieldbus signals to the engineering tool, which reduces the planning complexity of the technical system.
1 shows an exemplary wiring between a higher-level control system 1 and connected thereto intelligent field devices 41, 42, 43 and input / output units 44, 45, 46 according to the prior art, wherein the higher-level control 1 with the programmable controllers 21, 22, 23 and the programmable controllers 21, 22, 23 with each other via a control system bus 10 connected is. The automation devices 21, 22, 23 are connected to the intelligent field devices 41, 42, 43 and input / output units 44, 45, 46 by means of one or more fieldbuses 31, 32, 33 such that each field device 41, 42, 43 and each Input / output units 44, 45, 46 each with only one automation device 21, 22, 23 is firmly connected. The system shown in FIG. 1 shows a redundant design of the automation and control technology of the technical system. In the illustrated redundant system, the system bus 10, the connected automation devices 21, 22, 23 and the fieldbus 31, 32, 33 with the respective connected thereto smart field devices 41, 42, 43 and input / output units 44, 45, 46 redundant ,
If, for example, signals from a first field device 41 are now required which are not directly connected to the second automation device 22 executing the corresponding automation function, the corresponding signal must be via the first automation device 21, also called source automation device, connected directly to the field device and all Automation device 21, 22, 23 connecting system bus 10 to the second automation device 22, the so-called target automation device 22, are ranked. In Fig. 2 exemplary embodiments of the signal routing according to the prior art are shown, wherein Fig. 2a shows a so-called parallel wiring and Fig. 2b shows a signal routing over parallel buses.
The cabling from the input / output units of the encoder 65 or the field devices 66 is guided via corresponding connection units 63, 64 to the marshalling distributor 62. In order to avoid the signal transfer between the programmable controllers via the system bus 10 of the automation system, the signals from and to the input / output units of the encoder 65 and field devices 66 via the hardware jumper 62 to the respective target automation devices 61 out, but a increased wiring complexity and hardware costs due to the additionally required Rangierverteiler 62 conditionally.

In FIG. 2b, the used intelligent field devices 76 and / or input / output units of the encoders 75 are each connected via a separate field bus 70 to the correspondingly assigned automation device 71.
If now signals from a field device 76 or an input / output unit of the encoder 75 is required, which are not directly connected to the respective automation device, the corresponding signal via the directly connected to the field device 76 so-called source automation device and the system bus connecting all automation devices 10 to another automation device, the so-called target automation device, transferred.
Fig. 2b zeigt die Verbindung der im Feld 2 der technischen Anlage angeordneten intelligenten Feldgeräte 76 und Ein-/Ausgabeeinheiten der Geber 75 mit dem im Elektronikraum 4 im Steuerschrank 71 befindlichen Steuerungssystem über entsprechende Anschlusseinheiten 73, 74 und parallel verlaufende Busse 70. 2 b shows the connection of the intelligent field devices 76 and input / output units of the encoders 75 arranged in the field 2 of the technical installation with the control system located in the electronics compartment 4 in the control cabinet 71 via corresponding connection units 73, 74 and buses 70 running in parallel.
3 shows an exemplary embodiment of the system according to the invention for connecting intelligent field devices 41, 42, 43 and input / output units 44, 45, 46 to a higher-level control 1 of a process control system of a power plant.
The system according to the invention for wiring the intelligent field devices 41, 42, 43 and input / output units 44, 45, 46 with the higher-level control system 1 comprises a plurality of automation devices 21, 22, 23 which are connected to the higher-level control 1 via a control system system bus 10. The automation devices 21, 22, 23 are connected to the intelligent field devices 41, 42, 43 and the input / output units 44, 45, 46 via an Ethernet bus system 50 such that a signal transfer between the field devices 41, 42, 43, the input / output units 44, 45, 46 and the controllers 21, 22, 23 can be executed via the Ethernet bus system 50. The previously described signal transfer from the first field device 41 via the Ethernet bus system 50 to a target automation device 22 is shown in FIG. 2 by arrows.
In the illustrated embodiment, the Ethernet bus system 50, the programmable controllers 21, 22, 23 and the system bus 10 are redundant. The redundant embodiment of the system according to the invention is used, for example, in the cabling of the controllers, input and / or output units and / or field devices of a power plant. However, the system according to the invention may be designed in parts or completely single-channel.
Also, the number of connected to the Ethernet bus 50 smart field devices 41, 42, 43 and input / output units 44, 45, 46 can be chosen arbitrarily. The input / output units 44, 45, 46 are provided for the connection of further field devices.
The use of the Ethernet bus system 50 for communication between the inputs / outputs of the field devices 41, 42, 43 and the input / output units 44, 45, 46 with the programmable controllers 21, 22, 23 simplifies the configuration of the signal routing within the process control system. The routing of field bus signals to the input / output units 44, 45, 46 and / or intelligent field devices 41, 42, 43 can be carried out automatically by the higher-level control technology. For this purpose, an engineering tool which can be connected to the control system or system bus 10 automatically generates from the assignment and application of the automation devices 21, 22, 23 the required routing or routing information for a communication of input / output signals between the field devices 41, 42, 43 and automation devices 21, 22, 23. Thus, the respective application can access all available input / output signals in the system after the configuration. Conversely, each automation device 21, 22, 23 is capable of transmitting to any other input / output unit 44, 45, 46 and / or receiving signals from each input / output unit 44, 45, 46. Thus, the application programmer is completely free in the assignment of the functions to be performed by the system to the individual programmable controllers 21, 22, 23.
Dadurch entfallen in vorteilhafter Weise Transfers zwischen Automatisierungsgeräten 21 ,21, 22, 23 designed as multitasking controller and the stored in the programmable controllers 21, 22, 23 application tasks have direct access to all over the Ethernet bus 50 provided input / output signals. This advantageously eliminates transfers between automation devices 21,
22, 23 and the application programmer does not have to worry about where and how quickly needed signals are available.
The additional application task for routing the input / output signals is supported by corresponding automation of the communication configuration in the engineering tool.
