Abstract

A security seal or tie for securing and closing containers, which ensures that said containers are tamper-proof, intended for use in the securities and banking industry for the protection and transport of documents, said seal or tie comprising: a) an identification tab with etched information; b) an insertion clasp and lock having lips that indicate tampering and manipulation at the inlet and outlet thereof, needles, bolts and awls that indicate manipulation and/or tampering, as well as a floating tab allowing the insertion of the toothed strip; c) three tapered securing needles with a height of 4 mm; d) an adjustable strip having raised trapezoidal saw teeth on the front thereof and, on the rear, reinforcing beads between the teeth and etched information; e) a smooth area with etched information; f) a pull groove at the insertion end for the abutment installation thereof; and g) a strip tip.
