Abstract

The invention relates to a security system (100) for motion detection (BE) in at least one room, wherein the motion can be measured by means of at least one distance sensor (2) and wherein in a microcontroller (15) a first actual distance value of the distance sensor (2) can be compared with a second actual distance value of the distance sensor (2) and a distance measurement signal (DmS) can be generated, by means of which at least one timer (16) can be triggered and a sensor alarm signal (ssA) internal to the system can be output after a time interval (ZI) has expired.
