Description

DESCRIPTION
THE METHOD FOR DEPOSITING CREDIT/MONEY TO THE HGS AND OGS
ACCOUNTS VIA MOBILE PAYMENT
Technical Field
The present invention is related to a mobile payment method, which ensures depositing money/credit to HGS (fast pass system) and OGS (automatic toll collection system) of the users registered to HGS and OGS system by using short message (SMS) through the mobile devices connected to the network (line/service) provided by GSM companies in exchange for units/liras or invoice amount without using payment instruments such as money order, credit card or automatic payment. State of Art
The automatic toll collection system (OGS) is a toll payment method administrated under the control of General Directorate of Highways and used in Bosphorus Bridges and highways. When the user enters into a highway by using OG (automatic toll collection) lane, information regarding where and when the highway is passed is automatically recorded in the Electronic Tag (In-Vehicle Unit) that is provided inside the vehicle. While the vehicle exists from an OG lane in the same highway, the entrance information on the Electronic Tag is read automatically again and toll is realized by the computers in toll booths and collected from the bank account of the user.
Fast Pass System (HGS), however, is a tolling system, wherein the payment is made in Bosphorus Bridges and highway passes by using passive RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology. The toll collection is based on detecting the tag on the vehicle by means of antennas provided in the toll booths and collecting the toll from the account associated with said tag. Therefore, a fast pass is achieved without delay to make payment in the toll booths.
In the abovementioned OGS and HGS systems (pass systems without card), the users personally go to PTT (The General Directorate of Post and Telegraph Organization) branches and deposit money/credit to their OGS and HGS accounts in exchange for cash. Another application is that the contracted banks make collections by associating the HGS/OGS accounts of HGS and OGS users with any of the contracted credit cards or banks accounts of HGS/OGS users.
The drawbacks and insufficiencies of the present applications are as follows: - When HGS/OGS user desires to deposit credit/money to HGS/OGS account by means of PTT branches, cash will absolutely be needed. As many people do not keep cash available with the developing technology, the people have to withdraw cash from ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) and then, make their transactions by going to PTT branch. However, this process causes many people to lose time that is very valuable for people.
When HGS/OGS user desires to deposit credit/money to HGS/OGS account by means of credit card account or an associated bank account of any one of the contracted banks, HGS/OGS system cannot be used in case that the credit card limit or the balance in the associated bank account is not sufficient.
- As the PTT branches are closed from 17:00 to 08:00 on weekdays and all day on Saturday and Sunday (at the weekends), HGS/OGS users , cannot deposit credit/money during said times and they will be stuck in a difficult situation.
As a result of the abovementioned drawbacks and the insufficiencies of the present solutions regarding the subject, an improvement is required to be made in the related technical field.
Objects of the Present Invention Developed with the inspiration of the present conditions, the present invention aims to eliminate the abovementioned drawbacks.
The object of the present invention is to enable the HGS/OGS user to deposit credit/money by using mobile payment via short message (SMS) in case that HGS/OGS user does not have enough time to go to PTT branches in order to deposit credit/money to his/her HGS/OGS account, or the user does not have cash available.
Another object of the present invention is to enable the HGS/OGS user to deposit credit/money to his/her HGS/OGS account whenever he/she needs without experiencing shortage of time and requiring any challenging process. The object of the present invention is to ensure depositing money/credit to HGS (fast pass system) and OGS (automatic toll collection system) of the users registered to HGS and OGS system by using short message (SMS) through the mobile devices connected to the network (line/service) provided by GSM companies in exchange for units/liras or invoice amount without using payment instruments such as money order, credit card or automatic payment.
In order to achieve the abovementioned objects, a method for depositing credit/money to their accounts of pass system without card by means of mobile payment method, which comprises the following process steps; the user registered to the pass system without card sending short message via mobile phone to a number determined by GSM company previously, and transmitting her/his request for depositing credit/money to the account of pass system without card to the server, the server analyzing and evaluating the request for depositing credit/money to the account of pass system without card, which is sent to itself via short message, and the server loading credit/money to said account of pass system without card.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, said account of pass system without card is the account used for Automatic Toll Collection System or Fast Pass System.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, said mobile phone is a pocket computer or a cell phone or smart phone, which can send short message.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the amount of the credit/money deposited to the account of pass system without card is collected from the telephone line of the user as units/money by GSM company. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the amount of the credit/money deposited to the account of pass system without card is collected by invoicing thereof in telephone line bill of the user during the payment of the bill by GSM company.
The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the present invention will be more clearly understood thanks to the figures below and the detailed description written with reference to those figures; therefore, the evaluation is required to be made by taking said figures and the detailed description into consideration.
Figures for Understanding the Present Invention
Figure 1 is the representative drawing which illustrates the relationship between the elements used in the method according to the present invention.
Description of Part Numerals
1. Mobile phone
2. Server
3. Account of pass system without card The drawings do not need to be scaled necessarily and the details that ,are not necessary for understanding the present invention may have been ignored. In addition, the elements that are at least identical to a great extent or at least have identical functions to a great extent are referred with the same numeral. Detailed Description of the Present Invention
In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the method for depositing credit/money to the HGS and OGS accounts via mobile payment are described only for the subject to be understood better.
The elements used in the method according to the present invention are mobile phone (1), server (2) and the account of pass system without card (3). Said mobile phone (1) is a pocket computer or a cell phone or smart phone, which can send short message. The server (2) is the machine where the request sent by short message is analyzed and evaluated and the request is fulfilled. The server (2) is preferably managed by GSM company, which is used by the mobile phone (1) user. The account of pass system without card (3) is the account which is preferably used for OGS (Automatic Toll Collection System) and HGS (Fast Pass System), is opened in the related payment centers such as PTT branches and banks by the user, and through which the bridge and highway tolls are collected. The preferred operation of the method for depositing the account of pass system without card via mobile payment is as follows: HGS/OGS user who desires to deposit credit/money to the account of pass system without card (3) creates and sends a short message to a number determined previously by GSM company used by the mobile phone (1) user, by using the mobile phone (1). Therefore, the server (2) is commanded and the request for depositing credit/money to the account of pass system without card (3) is fulfilled. The content of said short message, meanly what the user should write in the message, has also been determined by GSM company previously. After the short message is sent, the server (2) analyzes and evaluates the request for depositing credit/money for the account of pass system without card (3), which is sent to itself via short message. If the evaluation made by the server is positive, the process for depositing credit/money to said account of pass system without card (3) is fulfilled automatically.- The amount of the credit/money deposited to the account of pass system without card (3) is reflected to the user as units/money to be paid from the telephone line or collected by invoicing thereof in telephone line bill during the payment of the bill by GSM company.
