[57] ABSTRACT
In the design ol transcutaneous energy transler devices, variation in spacing between coils results in energy transler efficiency changes. These changes may have significant effect on a system. It is proposed to provide a plurality ol implanted coils for receiving energy simultaneously. Prelerably, a plurality ol coil pairs is used for translerring energy simultaneously. Also, a leedback system for use in a multiple coil system is disclosed.
