The Fire Within: A Requiem for Katia and Maurice Krafft

French volcanologists Maurice and Katia Krafft were killed in the 1991 eruption of Mount Unzen in Japan. The Fire Within pays homage to the Kraffts, who left an archive of more than 200 hours of footage of footage from their decades of work, which Werner Herzog draws on for this moving eulogy.
