Biography

Senior Season (2017-18)
Tallied 32 appearances while averaging 10.4 minutes per game as key part of the playing rotation… Shot a team-high 66.7 percent from the field for the year… Tripled his blocked shots in Pac-12 play as a senior from his junior conference campaign… Had game-clinching block in Arizona’s win over Oregon (1-13-18) in McKale Center… His performance against the Ducks also had a highlight reel block and dunk on a Duck defender in the same transition push… Set a career high with three blocks in home win over Stanford (3-1-18)… Saved his best rebounding night for his team’s Pac-12 quarterfinal win over Colorado (3-8-18) with six boards.

Junior Season (2016-17)
Appeared in 34 games while averaging 12.3 minutes per game in his first season with the Wildcats… Led UA in blocks on nine different occasions… Made his first career start in Pac-12 Tournament championship game versus Oregon (March 11, 2017) drawing defensive assigned on two-time Pac-12 Player of the Year Dillion Brooks… Averaged 2.2 points and 2.9 rebounds per game… Led UA in blocks with 22… Grabbed season-high nine rebounds in his team’s win at Missouri (Dec. 10, 2016)… Tallied seven games of five or more rebounds… Blocked two or more shots on eight separate occasions with season-best mark of three blocks versus Texas A&M (Dec. 17, 2016).

Prior to Arizona
Comes to UA from Hutchinson Community College where teammate Kadeem Allen also transferred to Arizona from… Helped guide the Jayhawks to an appearance in the 2016 NJCAA Tournament championship game… Averaged 10.2 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game as a sophomore in 2015-16… Represented his home country of Australia in the 2015 World University Games… Played prep basketball at Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas where teammate Dusan Ristic also played his high school basketball… Made the Aussie Boomers’ U19 team for the 2013 FIBA World Championships… His father, Kendall “Tiny” Pinder, played professionally in Australia’s NBL with the Sydney Supersonics and the Perth Wildcats while also serving a stint with the Harlem Globetrotters.
