Flavia Tumusiime Quits Capital FM

Celebrated Ugandan radio host Flavia Tumusiime is quitting Capital FM.

Flavia, 33, is leaving the Kisementi based leading radio  station after 16 years.

She’d been the host of the mid-morning show “AM to PM,” since 2006, making her the current longest serving host on air at the station.

Her last show will be tomorrow, Wednesday, August 31st.

Flavia announced the development to her followers on Tuesday; “Tomorrow 31st August will be my final show (Capital FM Uganda) for the mid-morning show. It’s been a life and career changing experience for me since 2006.”

“The time has come again for me to stretch my potential and see what else I can become” she added.

Before joining Capital, Flavia was a presenter on HOT100 FM.

She has also had stints in acting and Television, having worked on WBS TV’s teen’s club and K-files, Channel O and presenter for Big Brother Africa in 2012.

Flavia joined NTV Uganda as a news anchor on NTV Tonight in 2016. She is a former co-host of a morning show Morning @ NTV which she started early 2018.
