I grew up at the dragstrip. A 14.4 second quarter mile is achieved at 96 to 97 mph. A 13.5 second at about 104 to 105, and a 111 to 112 mph speed in the quarter mile is going to happen at about 12.2 to 12.4 seconds. The 12.4 second quarter mile for the Suzuki SV 650 has been shown as achievable, and some believe with an exceptional rider with proper weight they can get high 11 second quarter mile times.
