Janice Carol Carr, 53, of Secluded Lane, Eldora Community, Fairmont, died Friday, March 1, 2002, at her residence. She was born in Fairmont on Dec. 21, 1948, a daughter of Maxine L. Osborne Carr, of Fairmont and the late Stanley C. Carr.
She was formerly employed in the Treasury Department at Allegheny Power Co. of Fairmont for 26 years and last worked as a cashier at the Fairmont Wal-Mart. She was a former employee of Valley Lanes Worlds of Fun and was a member of several local bowling leagues. She also enjoyed animals.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Daniel Biddle, of Fairmont; a brother and sister-in-law, John Stanley and Nancy Carr, of Fairmont; grandchildren, Trevor Sacks, of Fairmont, Travis Blosser, of Fairmont, Samantha Biddle, of Morgantown and Johnathan Biddle, of Morgantown; a nephew, Scott Allen Carr, of Zanesville, OH; and a close friend and his daughter, Charles James Kelley, of Fairmont, and Misty Lee Kelley, of Asheville, NC.
Services will be held at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont on Monday, March 4, 2002, with the Rev. Kenneth Wright officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service with interment at a later date.
