Jeanne C. Nigbor LAKE WYLIE - Jeanne Carol Ehrlich Nigbor, of Lake Wylie, S.C., died Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, at Wayne Patrick Hospice House, Rock Hill, S.C. A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, at Lutheran Chapel Church, 702 N. New Hope Road, Gastonia, N.C., conducted by the Rev. Michael Comer. The family will receive friends following the service. Jeanne was born in Berlin, Wis., to the late Erwin A. and Linda Bloch Ehrlich. Jeanne, lovingly called "Grand J," embraced life to the fullest, finding joy in her faith, family and friends. She was an avid Wisconsin Badger and Milwaukee Brewers fan. Unlimited by her imagination and energy, her love was shown through her creations, baking and designs. Her creative hands and loving heart are now at rest. Jeanne is survived by her husband Daniel F. Nigbor; daughter, Dana N. Sandler (Mike) of Dallas, Texas; son, Dr. Douglas A. Nigbor (Heather) of Gastonia; grandchildren, Emma Sandler and Max Sandler of Dallas, Texas, Ben Nigbor, Darby Shaw Nigbor and Kirk Nigbor of Gastonia; two sisters, Marilyn Albert and Nancie L.
