Richard 'Dick' Francis Lawlor,Jr. born on, 22 December 1936, in New York City to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Francis [Sarah 'Sadie' Kathleen Hughes] Lawlor. One of four children: Margaret McHale Lawlor, Mildred 'Tommy' Frances (Lawlor) Sullivan and Patricia Marie Lawlor [Sr. Mary Philomena and after Vatican II, Sr. Patricia M. Lawlor, Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent DePaul of New York, College of Mount St. Vincent, Riverdale, New York]. Dick met Dolores Ann McKenna a young woman from Scotland, they married in 1960 and had two daughters: Maria Ann (Lawlor) Capper and Beth Ellen (Lawlor) Banks. The joy of his life: grandson, James Neil Lawlor. Dick and Dolores divorced in the early 1970's. He then met up again with an old friend, Carletta Vane Rutledge whom he had worked with years earlier. Dick and Carletta were together from the early 1970's until his death in 2007 - they are buried together here. Dick was a life long friend of 'Bill W.'s' and helped many people regain their lives which was clearly evident at his funeral when talking with the numerous unfamiliar/non-family members who sang his praises to his family.
