Robert Campo, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. He was born in Long Island, NY and was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church, where he was a non-serving deacon and went on mission trips. He worked as a Plant Vogtle Nuclear Security Officer where he was previously awarded officer of the month and was a volunteer firefighter at the Sylvania Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his Mother: Dorothy Mae Brasher. Survivors are Sons: Robert Lance Campo of Charleston, SC and Joshua Tyler Campo of Sylvania; Partner: Georgia Burnett of Statesboro and Sylvania; Father and Wife: Louis John & Martha Campo of Sylvania and Gasden, AL; Sisters and Brothers-In-Law: Susan & David Crews, Mary & Lewis Sheley, Debbie & Rusty Forehand and Elizabeth & Mike Boddiford, all of Sylvania; Brothers and Sisters-In-Law: Richard Louis & Christy Campo of Portland, OR, Mark David & Kelly Campo of Birmingham, AL; Step-Children: Brandon Christopher Sydow of Houston, TX and Danielle Sydow of Statesboro, GA; Step-Brothers: Rodney Ray and Gregg Ray of Phoenix, AZ and Allen Ray of Gasden, AL; Step-Sister and Brother-In-Law: Teresa & Roger Bateman of Fairview, TX; and Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service: Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Green Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Todd Golden officiating. Burial following at Green Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers: John Whatley, Richard Whatley, Michael Sheley, Matthew Sheley, Josh Sheley and Franklin Waters. Honorary Pallbearers: Sylvania Fire Department.
