Ex-Sheriff William Moses Morow, age 77 years 8 months and 9 days, an old time resident of Greene County, died at home, this city, Tuesday, August 10, 1920. Had suffered several paralytic strokes. Back in early 80's he served as sherrif of this county for 2 terms and was also County Treasurer.

Was the son of Abner and Mary Woods Morrow, born in Athensville, where he resided for many years. About 20 years ago, he purchased property and moved to White Hall.

First wife was Emaline Smith, to this union 3 children were born, one dying in infancy, Mary, wife of Zachriah Morrow and Anna wife of C.F.Bates died several years ago. Surviving by this marriage; Abner and Henry.

Second marriage was to Ellen Maberry. Eight children born to this union, one dying in infancy, Eidth wife fo D.C. Akin deceased. Surviving are Blanche MacMaster, Claude, Ernest, Miner, Lee and Kenyon.

Funeral at Presbyterian Church Sunday Aug15, burial in White Hall Cemetery.
