Micha Auzenne easily won both the 60-meter dash and the 60 hurdles, and three other Aztecs posted all-time program top-10 marks to lead the San Diego State track and field team Saturday at the NAU Lumberjack Challenge in Flagstaff, Ariz.

Auzenne first won the 60 meters in 7.40 seconds, 0.22 seconds faster than the next two finishers. She later captured the 60 hurdles in 8.28 seconds, outdistancing runner-up and teammate Sierra Brabham-Lawrence by 0.17 seconds (8.45). Auzenne is the defending MW indoor 60 hurdle champion and the defending outdoor 100 hurdle champ.

Competing in her first collegiate meet, Brabham-Lawrence's 8.45 was the eighth-fastest 60 hurdle time in SDSU history. She also was ninth in the open 60 in 7.70.

The Aztecs' other two all-time top-10 marks came in the throwing events off the hands of Alexa Evans and Victoria Dickerson. Evans tossed the ninth-best shot put mark ever at San Diego State in 44-00.50 (13.42 meters) en route to an 11th-place showing, while Dickerson's mark of 49 feet, 2 ½ inches (15.00m) in the weight throw was good for the 10th-best heave in program history. Dickerson took 13th in the event.

Madison Gipson came in fourth in both the 200 (25.21) and the 60 hurdles (8.61), and was later joined by Brabham-Lawrence, Lakin Hatcher and Tyra Lea in the fourth-place 4x400-meter relay team, clocking a time of 3:51.54.

Jelena McNown long jumped to a fifth-place finish with a leap of 18-02.50 (5.55m) and came in sixth in the high jump (5-03.00 (1.60m)), while Jazmen Bunch (7.65) and Je'Neal Ainsworth (38-04.00 (11.68m)) were fifth in their respective events of the 60 and triple jump.

Other top-10 finishers came from Kassidy Ellis in the 60 hurdles (eighth, 8.75) and the high jump (eighth, 4-11.00 (1.50m)), and Lea in the 400 (10th, 56.73).

Competing without the pole vaulters, who were at the UCS Spirit National Pole Vault Summit, SDSU finished 2-5-1 in dual-meet competition, beating Southern Utah, 67-53, and UC Irvine, 62.5-47-5, and tying the host Lumberjacks at 56-56.

At the summit, Bonnie Draxler led the way with a runner-up finish in the College 1 flight, clearing 13-03.50 (4.05m). Marissa Berry (12-01.50 (3.70m)) and Karen Snapper (11-05.75 (3.50m)) came in eighth and 12th, respectively, in the same flight.

In the College 3 flight, Katherine Magill took ninth in 10-10-00 (3.30m). Sara Curran, meanwhile, won the College 4 flight with a height of 11-05.75 (3.50m) and Julia Newton finished sixth at 10-00.00 (3.05m).

In the elite division, former Aztecs Kortney Ross and Kristen Brown each competed on Friday night. Ross was third in the second flight with a mark of 14-01.25 (4.30m), while Brown tied for fourth in the same flight at 13-07.25 (4.15m).
