Hanging Wood Spirit

This wise old wood spirit comes ready to hang from a fence post, trellis or tree so it can survey your garden to keep your outdoor spaces safe. It has a lot of character and definitely makes it's presence known.

The eyes are blue glass cabochons. It is carved from half a log of ash wood from our property and is finished with spar urethane that should last many years outdoors. I do recommend that it be brought indoors out of the elements during the winter to make it last even longer. Even though the wood is dry and has been sealed on all sides, as with all wood pieces (especially whole logs), there is a chance for some splitting over time.
