Supergirl Casts Smallville Alum Sam Witwer as Agent Liberty

Supergirl has cast Smallville alum Sam Witwer as Agent Liberty in Season 4.
EW reports Witwer will portray the character as a villainous and terrifying founder of the Children of Liberty hate group, which supports a human-first world order. This'll prove to be a problem for Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and the DEO, who are pro-alien integration.
Witwer played Doomsday in Smallville Season 8. He's also known for his numerous Star Wars voice roles. He's portrayed Starkiller in The Force Unleashed video games and Darth Maul in both Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels.
Supergirl Season 4 will premiere on October 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. The new season might feature a Red Son storyline, while one series regular won't be returning.
