Two for One: Young & Restless’ Former Noah and General Hospital’s Ex-Dillon Return to the Screen — But You May Only Recognize One of Them!
Young & Restless fans have been clamoring for Noah Newman to return to their screens since he disappeared earlier this year, and many a General Hospital viewer has been asking for long-missing Dillon Quartermaine to pop into town as well. We’re happy to inform you that your wishes have been granted. Both soap scions are back! Sort of.

Daytime alums Robert Adamson and Robert Palmer Watkins have teamed up in a newly released short film called Midnight Ruin. It’s a taut, 18-minute dramatic thriller about Adamson’s petty criminal Oliver entertaining a shocking request from his desperate old friend Christian, played by Watkins.
Adamson last played The Young and the Restless‘ Noah in 2020 and then briefly stepped in for Chad Duell as General Hospital ‘s Michael in 2022. In Midnight Ruin, you’ll see him in a whole new light — one that’s as far from Nick and Sharon’s fresh-faced golden boy or Willow’s devoted husband as you can imagine. It’s a fair bet that neither Willow nor Young & Restless‘ Allie would be interested in this guy. We’re talking scruff, chain necklace, dropping f-bombs, and mulling a job offer that makes Newman Enterprises look like child’s play.
Meanwhile, Watkins, whom we last saw as General Hospital’s Dillon in 2017 is playing closer to that type. His character has a nicer wardrobe and plenty of money and privilege. But all that glitters isn’t gold. In fact, as far as Christian’s concerned, it’s pretty tarnished and he’s willing to cough up $250,000 to solve his problems.
