Tropes
- Actor-Shared Background: In Murder in the First, Raffi is Sephardic Jewish just like Emmanuelle, who comes from a Sephardic family.
- Ambiguously Brown: She's frequently played characters with an unknown ethnicity. All that can be said is they're likely not meant to be white.
- Celebrity Resemblance: With Nina Dobrev. They were even mistaken once in 63rd Primetime Emmy red carpet.
- Dawson Casting: She played a teenage Sancia of Aragon in The Borgias when she was 33 years old.
- Deleted Role: She filmed an appearance for the television series Manchester Prep in 1999. The series was not picked up despite having several episodes filmed, and was later edited into the movie Cruel Intentions 2. Emmanuelle's scenes were not used, although she appears in the trailer.
- Ms. Fanservice: She's often seen in "Most Sexy Girls" lists, ranking as #1 on AskMen.com's "Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2010 Edition." Her work has featured a number of sex scenes (though no explicit nudity thus far) or at least being scantily clad.
- Nice Girl: She has played a number of friendly, sweet women.
- What Could Have Been: She originally agreed to appear topless in Alien Abduction: Incident in Lake County, but had second thoughts out of fear of what her father would think. The director suggested she wear pasties, and the video be blurred out (as it's a Found Footage film) to only give the impression that Renee was topless. Emmanuelle apparently didn't know that was a possibility and was all too happy to compromise.
