Starz has acquired all North American rights to the Olga Kurylenko and James Purefoy‘s action thriller “Momentum,” following its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival.

“Momentum” marks the directorial debut of Stephen Campanelli, Clint Eastwood’s camera operator for the past 15 years. He directed from a script by Adam Marcus and Debra Sullivan.

Producers are Anton Ernst and Donald A. Barton. Starz Digital plans to release the film theatrically and on-demand in the fall, followed by a Starz TV premiere in early 2016.

Kurylenko portrays an infiltration expert with a secret past who accidentally reveals her identity during what should have been a routine heist. That leads to her getting mixed up in a government conspiracy and entangled in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with a master assassin, played by Purefoy.

The deal was negotiated by CAA on behalf of the filmmakers.
