Second UK edition. First published in the UK by Hamish Hamilton in 1934. Originally published in hard covers by Harper in the US in 1934. The boards have a little discolouration to the spine and a few other light surface marks. Scattered large brown spots with these bleeding onto the pages around the edges. The pages are otherwise clean and unmarked however. The price-clipped jacket has two small closed tears to the top edge of the front panel and a half inch closed tear to the bottom edge with these surrounded by associated creasing. There is a one inch closed tear at the base of the spine. The rear panel has a half inch tear to the bottom edge in the centre with a small amount of loss. The front flap has a brown mark to the bottom left corner where there is also a one inch closed tear. Other overseas orders: shipping costs are based on books weighing 800g. I will generally use whatever method is covered by the standard postage charge but if you specifically wish to have it sent surface or airmail or anything else please ask and I will amend the charge accordingly. Please only choose the cheaper surface mail option if you do not mind waiting - the suggested upper time limit for this form of delivery is 60 days and it can take that long - and sometimes a bit longer. If therefore you wish to receive the book in 2-3 weeks then please opt for the more expensive postage option which will guarantee airmail delivery.
