Very Good 8vo, 8 1/4" x 11" pictorial glossy white pictorial wraps featuring a full-color image of the Winold Reiss 1931 painting 'Marion Greenwood', and back cover features Marion Greenwood's 1930 conte drawing 'Portrait of Winold Reiss', dark blue lettering on front and back, small red smudge on top right corner, crease to back cover fore-edge, other minor shelf wear, slight rubbing and sunning along spine, else clean, intact, no chips or tears, and showing no staple oxidization. 41 pp. replete with black-and-white images (including one repeated artist entry for Doris Lee - pages 25 and 26) of the portrait work of artists George Bellows, Robert Chanler, Emil Ganso, Eugenie Gershoy, Marion Greenwood, Doris Lee, Anton Refregier, Winold Reiss, Hannah Small, Eugene Speicher, and Eva Watson-Schutze. Includes Preface by Linda Freaney, Acknowledgements, Introduction by Tom Wolf, Essays by Elijah Vanaver, Carol Brener, Andrea Baerenwald, Katy Crile, Carol Brener, Nancy Austin, Tom Kupiec, Catherine Gallagher, Virginia Luppino, Elia Kokkinen and Ashley Kamen and Checklist of the Exhibition.
