For the first time, all three BATMAN VS. PREDATOR miniseries are collected into one massive bloody collection, including the Eisner Award-winning BATMAN VS. PREDATOR #1-3 by Dave Gibbons (WATCHMEN), Adam Kubert (SUPERMAN: LAST SON) and Andy Kubert (DARK KNIGHT III: THE MASTER RACE) in DC COMICS/DARK HORSE COMICS: BATMAN VS. PREDATOR.

While fear and darkness have always haunted the streets of Gotham City, a new terror has crept onto the rooftops and into the hearts of its citizens. An alien hunter known only as the Predator has come to Gotham to hunt its greatest warriors, and after a string of brutal murders, the Predator has its sights on Batman. In an epic showdown, the Dark Knight must use all of his skills, both martial and mental, to beat this otherworldly menace.

After their first bloody contact, Batman faces off against the alien Predator a second time as a price is put on his head by a ruthless gangster. This time Batman enlists the help of the Huntress as he fends off both the assassins and the Predator.

Finally, Batman and Robin must face a third incursion from space as a deadly gang war rages across the streets of Gotham. As Mr. Freeze and Catwoman entangle themselves in the web of death, Batman must learn to trust his young partner in order to defeat the alien menace for a third time.

I am really glad to have all three of the stories collected here, and on good paper. Came from Amazon slightly munched but now I don't have to worry about keeping it pristine. The artwork ranges from very good to excellent in all three stories. There is a nice progression thought each stories, both in the Predators, the context behind their visits, and how the Batman responds to each challenge. The stories are written with plenty of action, lots of it, but not too much of the mega-testosterone over the top 90's stuff so into vogue by the third story in the series. The inking and coloring for the first story is so much better than my original collected edition graphic novel, because all the line work isn't bled into a very dark background. Definitely worth it, whether you have never read them, your original collected editions are wearing out, or you just want a beater copy.

An enjoyable read for anyone who is looking for this versus match that puts BvS to shame. Sadly, no longer in print due to Disney buying Fox. But I do recommend looking for it if you are interested.

Much action. Very entertaining. Well written. Is on point with the history of both characters. Worth the read for either fan.

I have these physical comics in a storage unit somewhere but seeing them digitally in a retained vibrant colored format, brought back a whole wave of nostalgia. What a cool crossover which we may never see again since 21st Fox owns Predator and Aliens now under the parent company Disney. We might be more likely to see Predator vs Wolverine, now. But these were great, nonetheless.

The stories were very well paced and set the foundation for future visits to the Batman vs Predator world. I'm looking forward to more stories

5.0 out of 5 stars Like a Blockbuster Movie Trilogy

A fantastic collection of three Batman/Predator crossovers from the 90's by some great talents. The cover credits only the creative team of the first story, but there's a lot more within. The first story is the strongest, setting up the rules and providing a showdown between the title characters in a near-perfect tale by Dave Gibbons and Andy Kubert.

In the second, Batman and Huntress must team up to fight both a Predator and a gang of bounty hunters, and it is peak 90s Doug Moench - exciting but not as good as the other two. The art by Paul Gulacy can be an acquired taste, but I like its cinematic feel.

The third story, featuring Robin and Mr Freeze, is a great way to wrap up the crossover trilogy. Combines both the detective and action elements that Chuck Dixon is known for, with stunning art by Rodolfo Damaggio.

With Marvel buying out the Predator franchise, getting these crossovers in the future will be a rarity. So buy 'em while you can!

5.0 out of 5 stars Slam bam Batman/Predator action!

I’m a huge Batman and predator fan so this crossover sounded almost to good to be true. Pleased to report I was not disappointed in the slightest. Amazingly good stories that showcase both Batman and his Alien adversary as the badasses that they are. A thoroughly entertaining read with moments that had me turning the pages with eager anticipation and other moments of black humor that made me laugh out loud. Highly recommend.
Note: though it is a Batman title it is very violent and bloody so not for younger readers.

Brilliant collection of all 3 Batman Vs Predator conflicts.
Artwork differs across them all. As does the writing. Its fairly consistant, except for the second stories writing being the weaker of the bunch. The first stories artwork/writing is the better story of the lot (in my oppinion). It also has a collection of the single issue covers in the back that are a treat to look at
