About the authors
Nicknamed "la Tisseuse" (the Weaver) by her readers and "queen of French fantasy" by the Press, Lea Silhol is the author of ten novels, ten short stories collections, and about a hundred short stories.
She was also the editor of abt. 25 anthologies in the Fantasy, Sci-Fi and horror fields, and non-fiction essays about Literature, folklore, fairies, and the vampire.
She's one of the pioneer and leading voices of Urban Fantasy in France.
Two of her short stories were published in English in "Interfictions, An Anthology of Interstitial Writing" (Theodora Goss and Delia Sherman ed.) and "Outsiders, 22 All-New Stories From the Edge"(Nancy Holder and Nancy Kilpatrick ed.).
She's also a notorious music addict and advocates for oceans and the protection of Spanish Greyhounds (galgos). She lives most of the time in the South of France with family, a quixotic cat and her hounds.
