Jason Aaron smashed it. The series was funny and fresh and I loved every minute of it. One of the best runs x-men has seen in recent years.

This is one of the best X-Men series ever, written by the best Wolverine writer ever ! Buy this and skip the series that came after it written by Jason Latour. Marvel took a series that was almost golden and replaced it with something that, if you called it toilet paper, you would be insulting actual toilet paper.
Mostly great art, especially by Nick Bradshaw.

I had never read anything by Jason Aaron until I read this collection, and since having read it, I've read as many comics that he's written as I can find. Fantastic writing, really solid art, and a super fun ride with Wolverine running the Jean Grey School for Mutants (but let's be honest, Quentin Quire/Kid Omega really steals the show in this one).

So when this title was announced I was... less than thrilled. Wolverine as a teacher? Yeah, right. "Another comedy title", I thought.

Then the first volume came out on hardcover, and the discount was insane, so I bought it. "Is not that bad", I thought.

The discount I got for this Omnibus was considerable, so it was a no brainer. I mean, who let a good deal go? Even when the book is not 100% your favorite? Well, I didn't... and I'm SO happy I didn't!!!

Wolverine & the X-Men by Jason Aaron Omnibus is one of the greatest X-Men collections I got now. I'm just half way through it, but is SO good!!!!! It does have comedy in it, but is not a bad thing. Is actually good. A great start! There's a lot of new characters (for me anyway), but there's such a good character development that is impossible not to get sucked into the story.

This book have the New X-Men (by Grant Morrison) kind of vibe, in which there was characters like Beak that, at first sight, you'll go "what the hell is that??", but at the end you fell in love with it.

Anyway, the quality of the book is a bit beyond great. Page quality is good, and binding is strong as ever.

Get it and enjoy it!

As a huge xmen fan Ive never really been a fan of Wolverine. (Cyclops fan) I can see way others like him. He is the best at what he does. Problem is he is everywhere! When this series began and ended I heard nothing but good things about the series. So when this book came out I decided to give it a shot. Got to say I can see why everyone loves it! Good story, good art, just good everything! The only downside is that 10 of these issues are set during the AvX storyline. Now this book is great on its own but to see the dark side of Wolverine and to see what hes up to when not at the school, check out Uncanny Xforce omnibus.

Well crafted graphic novel. Very cool interesting art style to this as well and the story line is interesting throughout. A different less stabby side to wolverine but quite good.

Finally a funny and cute xmen story that isn't bogged down by time travel too much

Excellent collection of an amazing run. Do not continue the new run with Jason Latour as the writer. Loses the sense created in Jason Aaron's run, much in part due to Latour having to write through multiple crappy Marvel major crossover events.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great X-Men Story
Reviewed in Canada on February 14, 2022
First of all I will call out the omnibus itself seems quite small at first glance especially as I have seen others with less pages look larger but It’s due to the paper quality which is quite thin. Not an issue or anything but deceiving at first.

The story is interesting, it follows Wolverine leading the new school. There is not much I can say with out spoilers except that it’s a great run. The only character I found annoying was Quinten Quire who is seemingly annoying on purpose.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enthousiasmant et copieux

4.0 out of 5 stars Leve e divertida
Reviewed in Brazil on August 3, 2023
As exceções foram Avengers vs. X-Men e Battle for the Atom.
