Biography: Emanuel Demby work in comic books was primarily through his shop, Demby Studios. Demby wrote Dollman, during 1941, and other adventure stories for Quality during the 1940s. He also wrote Ghost Patrol for DC in 1941.

Demby adapted the Marco Polo story for Classics Illustrated in 1946. He wrote the feature Bingo's Frolics in Fairy Tale Land! for Quality sometime during that feature's 1943 to 1945 main run. Demby wrote text features and adventure stories for Eastern Color from 1943 to 1945.

Notes: Emanuel Demby pen name of Bill Bydem is uncertain per Bails' Who's Who. Demby used the pen name of Harry Demby in conjunction with Frank Harry. He also used the pen name of Ted Demby in conjunction with Ted Udall.
