Biography: He studied journalism at the University of Rhode Island. His first published writing was four issues of a self-published pop music 'zine.

This was followed by a comic with Walt Simonson called The Outsiders, published by the University of Rhode Island. This led to Denny O'Neil encouraging Boudreau to write professionally.

He soon secured war and horror work for DC (1973-1974) and mystery, superhero and science fiction stories for Western (1973-1974, 1977), including Star Trek stories.

In 1973, he also started a long association with Warren, including Vampirella, Creepy and Eerie (1973-1983), notably ongoing series including Vampirella, El Cid, Tombspawn and Fleur.
