Frank Tinsley

September 19, 1932 — March 3, 2024

Franklin Alfred "Frank" Tinsley, the man who always had a smile ready to share and a love for farming, has sadly passed away at the age of 91. Born on September 19, 1932, in Ooltewah, TN, Frank spent his life as a dedicated boilermaker in the manufacturing industry, working for Allied Signal. He was a man of the land and found great joy in tending to his farm and riding his tractor. Frank was a devoted follower of Jesus, who loved the Lord with all his heart. He was served as a deacon and was a member of White Oak Baptist Church for 65 years.

Frank was known for his warm heart and friendly nature, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Karen Daub (R.H), and son, Tim Tinsley (Debbie). He is survived by his loving siblings, Bud Tinsley, Norma Floyd, Margaret McKamey, Glen Tinsley, Ola Mae Trentham, and Coy Tinsley. He leaves behind a legacy in his grandchildren, Dara McDonald, Natalie Daub, Will Tinsley, Andrew Tinsley, Rachael Tinsley, Stuart Shires, and Sydney Shires.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Juanita Tinsley, his first wife Mamie Tinsley, second wife Patricia Tinsley, son Jason Tinsley, and siblings Mary Jane Bean, Sue Tinsley, Rob Tinsley, Joe Tinsley, Major Tinsley, Ralph Tinsley, and Iona Scoggins.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Frank's life will be held at White Oak Baptist Church in Cleveland on March 6, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Prior to the service, a Visitation will take place at the church at 12:00 pm. The burial ceremony will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In addition to his family, Frank leaves behind a large circle of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, as well as extended family and friends who will fondly remember him forever. May his soul rest in peace.
