This is a folk instrument called Kantele, Kokle or Gusli.
This version of kantele is very handy, which makes it a perfect instrument to start music with, and serves as a good travel companion.

The body of this instrument is carved in alder wood, with a maple soundboard.
It can be made with wooden pegs or metal tuning pins.
Strings are made of plain steel. The number of strings can be customized, according to your needs.
