Résumé
Depuis cinq ans, le peintre Dado fait un prodigieux travail solitaire en couvrant les murs d’une chapelle à Gisors. Avec ce film, nous allons essayer de voir pourquoi le peintre sent le besoin de sortir de son atelier, pourquoi il choisit ce lieux insolites, à Gisors dans une chapelle, une ancienne léproserie. Pourquoi ce besoin de faire une peinture immobile, que l’on ne puisse vendre ni bouger, comme dans les grottes de Lascaux (qui l’obsèdent tant).
For 5 years, the painter Dado has made a prodigious solitary work by covering the walls of a chapel in Gisors. With this film we will to try to understand why the painter feels the need to go out of his workshop, why he chooses this unusual place in Gisors, in a chapel, in an ancient leper-house. Why this need to make an immovable painting, which cannot be sell or move as in the caves of Lascaux (his obsession).
