Description:

Very beautiful succulent, extremely peculiar, characterized by a dark color, almost tending to black when abundantly exposed to sunlight. The leaves are lanceolate, even 80 cm long in the mature plants and strongly pointed and curved downwards; are arranged in a rosette laterally flat as if the foliage were developed in opposite pairs that tend to grow tightly stacked on each other as in a kind of tower. The resulting aspect is strongly symmetrical and precise, made possible also thanks to the extreme turgor of the leaves. Unlike the other species of the genus, the inflorescences of A. fleurentiniorum bloom several times during the year and not in a well determined season, stupendous with their wonderful red-orange shades of yellow!

Plant care:

It requires a lot of light all year round, however avoiding direct sunlight especially during the hottest hours of the day.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures, but never below 8 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

Water moderately only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water the plant once every two weeks in spring and summer, once every two months in autumn and completely suspend watering in winter.

A well-draining and at the same time nourishing soil is an optimal solution. A mix of 60% of peat and 40% of inert materials is a perfect combination.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
