A local library is now home to some popular children's books that you can't check out  — because they're knitted onto a tree outside. In the latest take on the yarn-bombing trend, the Ferntree Gully Community Arts Centre in Melbourne, Australia got covered inside and out in woven threads. But one tree in particular stands out for its literary-inspired blanket.

Matthew Parslow posted his wife's original creation on Imgur this weekend, which was inspired by the library inside the center. The impressive project includes classics like The Cat in the Hat and The Very Hungry Caterpillar, complete with opening covers and colorful "illustrations." According to Mashable, Kim has won several prizes for her work and belongs to the group Yarn Corner, which organized the commissioned installation.

The proud husband told Mashable, "We also do foster care for young children, so we're well acquainted with children's books." And with these life-like renditions, it's pretty clear they're used to the bedtime story routine.
