Abstract:
Abstract This article analyses the correction work carried out by Charles Nodier, one of the most important French lexicographers of the 19th century, as editor of the Dictionnaire universel de la langue française (1834) by P. C-V. Boiste, also known as the Pan-Lexique. Based on a selection of entries from Nodier’s Examen critique des dictionnaires de la langue française (1828), where he critically commented on the different editions of Boiste’s dictionary (1800, 1803, 1812 and 1823), we study whether Nodier followed his own recommendations and corrected these entries in his work as editor of the Pan-Lexique (1834).

Abstract:
The world where nodier lived in during his child hood and his youth put the theatre on the top of his preoccupations, making him an enthusiastic spectator, a pertinent critic and a fertile author, though rarely performed. His admiration for the great classics and shakespeare, who he praises in his dole's litterature conferences and in the newspapers, his frequentation of the theatre world, lead with a certain efficiency only to a whole series of dramatic feuilletons in the journal des debats (1814) (except some creations of which there is very few left); his ideas are classic although he accepts the rights of the genius. - his theatrical carreer covers the 1820-1828 period ; he is the author (jointly) of five plays which show some original characteristics : the frenetic inspiration, the genre -half popular, half litterary- between the melodrama and the romantic drama, the subjects coming from the foreign theatre which he defends actively and with conviction in the newspapers. - however, in his fifties, nodier shows a significant turning point : he doesn't go to the theatre anymore, his creation changes, the tale replaces the drama ; the actress reappears, as a myth ; the criticism hands o- ver to the account of real-life experience ; after having tried the pantomime for a while, nodier rediscovers the qualities of the pup- pets, which he considers now as the essential theatre, incarnating the eminent worths liberty and childhood spirit, satisfying the ima- gination and the sensitiveness

Abstract:
What is the pictorial and musical theme of Charles Nodier? It is the most question in my study. The orient was composed by the musician, the artist and the writer in 19th century. I have majored in the literature of France, Charles Nodier especially. How can I tell the exotic literature, and the exotic painting and the exotic music? I saw the stereotype thing in the text of Nodier. The stereotype thing is the orient made in the occident. I analyzed the orient seen by the occident, especially Nodier. In the writing. The style of Nodier was been the mode of romantisme. I proposed the romantic writing of Nodier as well as the style neo-classisme. The orient of Nodier was not only the place of dream, that of the imagination, but also the place of writing the same. I analyzed the orient by this way, so i can tell the writing of Nodier as the same thing of dream, imagination and the "fantastique". This term is the same thing of orient. The oriental woman is fantastique, because of her character, she is fragile. The orient as the oriental woman was made in the idol by the romantic writer. The orient as the exotisme in this way is the symbol of superior in the occident. But the occident purpose the signification, the origin, the items in the orient through the text of Nodier

Abstract:

Abstract:
We consider goods that can be shared with k-hop neighbors (i.e., the set of nodes within k hops from an owner) on a social network. We examine incentives to buy such a good by devising game-theoretic models where each node decides whether to buy the good or free ride. First, we find that social inefficiency, specifically excessive purchase of the good, occurs in Nash equilibria. Second, the social inefficiency decreases as k increases and thus a good can be shared with more nodes. Third, and most importantly, the social inefficiency can also be significantly reduced by charging free riders an access cost and paying it to owners, leading to the conclusion that organizations and system designers should impose such a cost. These findings are supported by our theoretical analysis in terms of the price of anarchy and the price of stability; and by simulations based on synthetic and real social networks.

Abstract:
The temperature distribution in a prismatic Li-ion battery cell can be described using a spatially distributed equivalent circuit electrical model coupled to a 3D thermal model. The model represents a middle ground between simple one or two state models (generally used for cylindrical cells) and complex finite element models. A lumped parameter approach for the thermal properties of the lithium-ion jelly roll is used. The battery is divided into (m × n) nodes in 2-dimensions, and each node is represented by an equivalent circuit and 3 temperatures in the through plane direction to capture the electrical and thermal dynamics respectively. The thermal model is coupled to the electrical through heat generation. The parameters of the equivalent circuit electrical model are temperature and state of charge dependent. Parameterization of the distributed resistances in the equivalent circuit model is demonstrated using lumped parameter measurements, and are a function of local temperature. The model is parameterized and validated with data collected from a 3-cell fixture which replicates pack cooling conditions. Pulsing current experiments are used for validation over a wide range of operating conditions (ambient temperature, state of charge, current amplitude and pulse width). The model is shown to match experimental results with good accuracy.

Abstract:
Abstract The limitation of Focused Ion Beam (FIB) and all charged beam technologies are their insensitivity to the internal composition of materials relative to surface composition. For the most part, charged particle technology cannot provide the resolution at a depth necessary for locating traces either buried under passivation or through silicon. Before CMP planarization was utilized in the industry, it was possible to correlate passivation topography with buried metal traces and manually navigate to the correct x-y coordinates necessary for edit placement. There was still a level of difficulty and CAD navigation helped immensely. With the advent of CMP-planarized metallization, CAD navigation became a necessity, yet still required passivation topography for precise alignment. Current manufacturing processes now planarize all layers, including the passivation, increasing the overall difficulty of navigation. Techniques of drilling “seeker” holes or surface demarcation using FIB and lasers to establish reference fiducials are used extensively [1,2]. Seeker holes and optical-to-FIB image correlation have been useful workarounds for the navigation-related problems presented by advanced ICs. In this paper we will discuss the advantages of Real-Time Optical Imaging coaxially integrated into the FIB, providing non-invasive navigation to nodes for front side and backside applications.

Abstract:
Abstract Objective of the present work is to present the design and the laboratory tests of Wireless Sensor Nodes (WSNs) equipped with three different on-board energy production systems, to be installed on freight trains for condition monitoring and structural diagnosis of the railway vehicle. The three sensor nodes are designed to be completely energetically autonomous, exploiting three different energy sources easily available on a moving train: Solar, Wind and Mechanical vibration power. a PCB board hosts different ICs, able to convert the uncontrolled and unregulated power sources in order to properly feed all the on-board components and possibly to charge the battery. The electronics for the acquisition, elaboration and wireless transmission of data, is presented and analyzed in terms of performances and consumptions. The three WSNs, based on the different energy sources, are designed and compared in terms of fatigue behavior and performances by means of laboratory tests.
