Oskar Blotta published his first work in Patoruzito. Later on, he contributed to Rico Tipo, Tía Vicenta, Tío Landrú and La Hipotenusa. Between 1966 and 1968 he lived in the USA, where he worked as an illustrator for Cracked magazine. Back in Argentina, he opened an adertising agency, and launched the magazines Satiricón (1972) and El Ratón de Occidente (1976). He is the son of comic artist Oscar Blotta.
