Prince Namor the Sub-Mariner by Bob Budiansky

Bob Budiansky is an American comic book artist, writer and editor. Originally from The Bronx, New York, he made his first comic for his university newspaper. He began his twenty-year association with Marvel Comics in 1977, doing editing jobs and pencils on 'Falcon', 'Thing and Black Bolt' and covers. He drew the covers of 'Ghost Rider' between 1978 and 1983, and also did the interior art during the 1982-1983 period. He also drew the 1984 series of 'Prince Namor, the Sub-Mariner'.

He is best-known as the initial writer of Marvel's 'Transformers' comic books, and is the creator of many of the original character names. He also conceived the technical specifications for the robots that came with the Hasbro toys. He was a staff editor with Marvel between 1983 and 1996, overseeing production of titles like 'Fantastic Four' and 'Daredevil'.
