Martin Elkin was active in the comics field during the 1950s. He drew for romance, horror and science fiction titles published by Harwell Publications (All True Romance, Horrific, Weird Terror), Marvel (Strange Tales, Love Adventures, Adventures into Weird Worlds), Stanmor (Ideal Romance), Story Comics (Mysterious Adventures, Secret Mysteries) and EC Comics (Weird Fantasy). In the 1960s, he contributed to Warren Pulications' Help!. He is the cousin of Gil Kane.
